Contract: The Ropery

Location: Whitby

Rig Type: Beretta T46

Pile type: 300mm diameter fully reinforced working in conjunction with ground anchors to enable excavations adjacent to road.

Anchor type: steel threadbar double corrosion protected.

This contract involved the use of contiguous bored piles, waling beams and ground anchors to enable the excavation for a new build pair of town houses just above the harbour in Whitby. A&J Geotechnical services designed and installed the works in a timely manner and were subsequently awarded further similar works by a separate developer next door.
