Rig Type: 21 tonne excavator mounted Klemm

Anchor type: Fully threaded steel bar with plastic sheathing for corrosion protection. The facing is galvanized steel mesh (two layers) filled with soil to create a grassed embankment

A new embankment had to be constructed to provide vehicular access to the South Leeds stadium. Soil reinforced geogrids had been the preferred option but the price was the deciding factor. A&J Geotechnical Services designed and installed a soil nail option in conjunction with a soil filled galvanized steel basket to provide a natural finish to the embankment.
