Formed by Mr Dave Evans in 1999 after 22 years in the industry working for a variety of Companies from small to major international organisations, A & J Geotechnical Services Ltd is able to respond to the ground engineering requirements of the small building company to heavy civil engineering contractors.
The ability to respond to the varying requirements of such a range of projects and maintain a competitive and efficient service is facilitated through equipment and drilling rigs that are specially adapted to specific needs but still maintaining the flexibility to address a variety of tasks. In addition, maximum efficiency, output and quality is achieved through the use of experienced and trained site teams and operatives.
As most of our work is repeat work this should speak for itself. We have just opened the Carcroft offices and are in the process of negotiating with a landowner for the purchase of 1.0acres of land to use as a stockyard/ workshops and new offices. Our staff levels have risen from 4 in 1999 to 20 in 2006 new plant purchased this year include the Mait Baby rig capable of installing 750mm diameter piles in 4.0mtrs headroom and just arriving is a cfa piling rig designed by D Evans and built in the UK.
All types of drilling and grouting services are provided with particular expertise in the field of slope stabilisation utilising soil nails/ground anchors including the use of geogrid soil
reinforcement and hard and soft facings.
Our services and activities are supported by a Chartered Civil Engineer who has extensive experience in ground engineering including steep slope stabilisation and soil reinforcement techniques.
